Auto Collision Repair

You consider cars works of art as much as you do modes of transportation. If you're looking to turn your love for cars into a rewarding career, SCC's Automotive Collision Academy is for you.

Restoring damaged vehicles takes equal parts craftsmanship, precision, and a strong work ethic. This academy will expose you to the equipment, tools, techniques, and materials you need to master as explore this as a career path.

Hone your craft in our million-dollar auto collision lab using the same equipment and materials used in auto shops across the country.

FL-SEM 1	CRR-100 Intro to Collision Repair and Refinishing (Saturdays)
SP-SEM 2	CRR-106 Fundamentals of Collision Repair and Refinishing (Saturdays)

Where are classes offered?

Classes are held on the West Burlington campus and meet once a week in person with the remaining coursework delivered online. 

How long does it take?

Academy length is one school year. Students take one class per semester.

How many college credits can I earn?

Students who complete this academy will earn up to 5 hours of college credit that can transfer to SCC's Automotive Repair and Restoration Program.

What can I do after high school?

Students who complete this academy can trim nearly one full year off the time to earn their AAS degree.

Once they complete their AAS degree, students can take the Toyota Elite Collision Repair and Restoration course to earn a specialized Toyota technician certification.
